Accelerate Your Pathway From High School to College
The Brainpower Connection at the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ (ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ) facilitates the student experience from high school to college by permitting eligible students to enroll in courses and earn college credit while attending high school. Students have the option of attending classes on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ main campus or online, accelerating their academic pathway to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ and higher education at a reduced tuition rate.
Dual Enrollment Options
- Accelerate your academic pathway to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ and post-secondary education.
- Earn valuable experience while attending classes on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ campus.
- Open to eligible students enrolled in Incarnate Word High School and St. Anthony Catholic High School.
- In-person and online courses available.
- 50% ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ tuition discount for Fall and Spring terms.
- Summer I and Summer II sessions available.
- Earn college credit and high school credit concurrently.

Students who are accepted into one of the dual enrollment programs will meet the following requirements:
- Successful completion of 2 high school credits in each of the core subject areas - mathematics, English, social science and science.
- Minimum 3.5 high school GPA.
- required to attend classes on campus.
- Approval from the student's high school.
- Demonstrate college-readiness with one of the following assessments:
- TSIA 2 Ready: > 945 ELAR; > 950 (for college mathematics)
- PSAT: > 480 EBRW; > 530 Math (for college mathematics)
- SAT: > 500 EBRW; > 550 Math (for college mathematics)
- ACT: > 36 English + Reading; > 22 Math (for college mathematics)
- Maintain a minimum 3.0 college GPA to progress through the program.
Accelerated Degree Pathways
Make the most of your course selections by following a ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ pathway. Eligible students can get ahead by up to 36 college credit hours offering a seamless transition to one of many undergraduate degree plans tailored for the advanced high school student.
