How do I use the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ application?

Students can create a ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ application account to begin, complete and check the status of an application as well as sign up for ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ events. Students who applied to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ through ApplyTexas or Common App can also check application statuses through the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ application account.

Create a ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Application Account

Already have a ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ Application Account?

Follow the instructions below to start your application, access your application status, track your submitted application items and register for admission events.

If you applied through ApplyTexas or the Common Application, you’ll need to set up a ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ application account to track your admissions status, but you do not need to complete another ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ application. We bring your information from these other applications into the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ account for you.

Great! You can login to your ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ account using the credentials you provided when you submitted your application.

Click on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ application for your student type:

  • (non-traditional online or in-person classes)

You can still create a ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ account and keep up with the status of your application. Your ApplyTexas or Common Application will be linked to this portal where you can track your missing application items and register for admissions events. Note: If you have already started or submitted an application to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ through ApplyTexas or Common Application, do not start a new application in your ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ account to avoid duplicate applications.

Viewing your application status and missing application items:

Sign in to your ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ account using your email and your password. If you forgot your password, don’t worry! It’s easy to reset it by choosing the "Forgot Your Password" option in the login window. If you still have trouble logging in, you can contact the Office of Admissions at admission@uiwtx.edu.

Under My Applications, you can:

  1. View your application status.
    1. If Status = Started, your application has not been submitted. You can select Edit under the Action column to submit your application.
    2. If Status = Action Required, your application has been submitted and there are required supplemental items that we have not yet received such as your school transcripts. Select View in the Action column to review the missing supplemental items. Submit your documents by emailing them in PDF format to admissiondocs@uiwtx.edu or via mail to:

    3. If Status = Completed, your application has been submitted and all the required supplemental items have been received. Note: In the School of Professional Studies, you may have additional documents not noted in this portal.
    4. If Status = Deferred, your application has been changed to a different entry term per your request.
    5. If Status = Withdrawn, your application has been withdrawn per your request.
    6. If Status is blank, please contact the Office of Admissions for more information regarding your status.
  2. Finish filling out your started application.
    1. Select Edit under the "Action" column.
    2. Click Submit at the end of your application to send your application to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ.
  3. View the missing supplemental items for your submitted application.
    1. Select View under the "Action" column.
    2. Select Supplemental Items and Documents tab .

If you forgot your password, you can easily reset it from the sign in page and select the “Forgot Your Password” link. If you need login assistance, please contact the Office of Admissions at admission@uiwtx.edu.

Click on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ application for your student type:

If you are locked out of your ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ application account, please contact the Office of Admissions at admission@uiwtx.edu. The Office of Admissions will reset your password and send you a temporary password to your personal email account. Use this temporary password to log in to your ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ account and create a new password.

How do I check my application status for one of the Health Professions Schools?

Prospective students to the health professions schools apply in the Centralize Application System (CAS). The application process involves an invitation to interview along with other steps. Click on each school for information on the complete application process and contact with that school’s admissions team.
