Executive Summary

Since our founding in 1881 by the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ (ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ) has grown to become a global university in the heart of Texas that provides transformational education to nearly 10,000 students.

As a large and complex system rooted in the charism of its founding congregation, ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ is distinct in its offerings and outcomes. A private co-educational Catholic university based in San Antonio, it encompasses 11 schools and colleges, which include five schools focused on health professions and a School of Professional Studies, focused on professional advancement and degree completion. The University also counts two locations in Mexico, one European Study Center and Global Online, an online destination offering U.S.-based degrees to learners throughout the Spanish-speaking world.
